Meet the Kaleidoscope Crew

All of our coaches and programme facilitators come from a teaching background and have a passion for promoting mental well-being and empowering our children.

Our crew are enthusiastic, nuturing, and are trained to utilise Kaleidoscope Solutions' unique, proven tools and strategies to help children develop concentration, resilience, and self-esteem.

 

We're a team - working towards a brighter future for children and families in the Wellington region.

Heather is a fully qualified teacher and licensed ‘Professional’ level coach certified with the Australia and New Zealand Coaching Alliance. (ANZCAL). She has worked in a variety of teaching roles supporting children, parents and teachers, including our ‘vulnerable’ community working alongside other agencies such as the police and social workers. Heather is personable, compassionate and truly loves her work. Empowering children is her passion.

Caeleen

Caeleen is a well respected teacher within the Maungaraki community and holds a wealth of knowledge and experience connecting to emotional intelligence and mental wellbeing for children.

Caeleen loves reading, researching, and has a passion for art and tapping into her creativity! She has the biggest heart, bucket loads of kindness, compassion and empathy as we all feel gravitated towards her beautiful energy.

Gemma

Gemma is a qualified Kindergarten teacher and has heaps of experience working with our little people. Gemma is incredibly passionate, caring and dedicated to supporting mental health and well-being for our tamariki and their whānau in everything she does.  She has the biggest heart coupled with oodles of compassion and empathy. Gemma loves spending time with her whānau and friends, going on bush walks, art and photography, reading, music and learning new things.

Moana

Moana is a qualified teacher with heaps of experience, a background in child development and counseling and she oozes peace, calm and kindness! She's our treasure!

Moana enjoys reading, hiking, cooking, meditating and playing with her baby!

Lucy

Lucy has a bubbly personality, lights up any room and is SO much fun to be around making her incredibly popular with the kids and families.

Lucy has a special talent for dancing, loves singing, gaming, and is a real advocate for supporting children's mental health and well-being. Furthermore, Lucy is a fully qualified and registered teacher.

Lucy loves to fill her bucket by being with whanau and friends.

Mel

Mel is a kindergarten teacher and absolutely adores working with our precious tamariki.

She enjoys yoga and crafty things like colouring in, drawing, building Lego and crochet.

She is passionate about mental health and well-being, and is incredibly motivated in supporting tamariki to develop skills and an understanding of wellbeing and emotional development.

Naylene

Naylene is beautiful on the inside and out. She exudes warmth and compassion. With her bright and bubbly personality we know she'll make an incredible impact and difference for our tamariki and their whānau.

Naylene is incredibly passionate about mental health and well-being for our little people and is a qualified teacher and life coach, promoting social and emotional intelligence in everything she does.

Anne Pritchard - Kaleidoscope Solutions Facilitator

Anne is a qualified Kindergarten and Primary teacher and has 30 years experience working with our little people. Anne is incredibly passionate, caring and dedicated to supporting mental health and well-being for our tamariki and their whānau. She teaches from the heart and has oooodles of empathy. Anne has many talents including playing the piano and guitar, she loves nature, art and going for walks by the sea.
